Kakola neighbourhood sourdough bakery and coffee shop, bageri Å, offers great sourdough-based products. The selection includes sourdough bread, buns and croissants. Sourdough-baked croissants are bageri Å’s specialty. The process takes three days and there is a separate air conditioned room for this purpose alone. You can watch the bakers make the croissants and other bakery products while enjoying the locally roasted coffee by Frukt Coffee Roasters, another Kakola based company.

Bageri Å's selection is mindfully seasonal. In the summer, you can enjoy Karhulinnan Jäätelö ice creams on the sunny terrace.
