You can bring your pet on the Föli buses, which run year-round and transport passengers throughout the Turku region. You can easily reach the charming surroundings of Lake Littoistenjärvi, the hiking trails along Kuhankuono, and Turku’s dog forest in Kakskerta.
During the summer season, you can comfortably take your dog to Ruissalo on the Föli water bus. Known as the sacred home of Ruisrock, this classic island also features a campground, adjacent to which you’ll find a dog park and a dog swimming area.

Riverbank sightseeing – Head along the riverbank to Turku Castle, cross the river via Föri, and stroll from there to the Cathedral.
The Koroisten Route – From the Cathedral, head upstream along the Aura River to the Koroisten Cross and back. Koroistenniemi was the site of Turku Cathedral’s predecessor as far back as the 13th century. In addition to the ruins, you’ll find stunning views across the Aura River valley.
Kupittaanpuisto – Turku residents’ own activity park covers a sizeable area in the eastern part of downtown. In the northeast corner, there are dog parks for both large and small dogs.
